Private Residence Surrey
The brief was to light this bungalow conversion using as few ceiling downlights as possible to create a bright, modern space that made the most of beautiful riverside garden views. A combination of concealed cove lights, sleek track and spotlights were chosen to create an art gallery feel.
The triple height atrium lighting was kept to a minimum to emphasise the architecture and matching chandeliers were placed in the ground and first floor hallways to add a touch of drama. Lighting is controlled from a Lutron home automation system on the Ground Floor, while conventional dimmer switches service the upper floors.
