The “90” sign is one of our favourite projects, completed when Victoria worked at Equation Lighting. Client Derwent London wanted statement signage for 90 Whitfield Street, which would signpost the building without taking over from a 15m painting behind the reception. Derwent chose Victoria’s concept of a frosted interior with a clear Perspex exterior, giving a depth to the signage, which was over-sized for distance viewing. Victoria worked closely with the fabricators to design the fixings and ensure the light source was efficient, durable and easy to maintain.
